What is Rent & Go?
Rent & Go is a vehicle rental system available only through Triangle Dealers. Rent & Go was designed to assist dealers in offering quality, temporary transportation for their customers. Whether you need a service rental or an insurance replacement vehicle, Rent & Go has you covered. Retail rentals are also available for extended test-drives or special travel plans.

Are Rent & Go rates competitive with other rental agencies?

Can I rent a vehicle at one location and return it to another location?
Yes, the vehicle can be return on any of our other locations.

Can I buy the vehicle I am renting?
Absolutely. Most Rent & Go vehicles are available to purchase after their short six-month in-service period. 

Can I take the vehicle I rented into Vieques or Culebra?
Rent & Go vehicles are not covered in Vieques or Culebra.

Are there age restrictions on the person renting in Rent & Go?
Yes. You must be at least 18 years of age to rent a vehicle in Rent & Go. 

Are there any other restrictions?
You need a valid driver’s license and a major credit card in your own name to rent a vehicle in the Rent & Go. Proof of full coverage insurance that will transfer to the rental vehicle will be required at the time of rental.

Notes about licenses:

• A valid license from the Renter’s state of residence or country of origin is required (i.e., must not be expired, must not have any restrictions).
• An International Driving Permit or license is acceptable but is not required.
• A military license is acceptable as long as it is accompanied by the Renter’s state of residence license, as well as proof that the Renter is on active duty.
• A Learner’s Permit is not an acceptable license.
• A temporary license, permit or application for a Driver’s License may be acceptable. Always check with your local Department of Motor Vehicles to verify that such paperwork is valid and has not expired.

Insurance Coverage
Loss Damage Waiver (“LDW”) is optional only when presenting a major Credit card that extends coverage to Puerto Rico or with proof of personal insurance at the counter with a letter stating it is valid in Puerto Rico and vehicle covered is less than 5 yrs old. Credit card and Insurance presented are subject to verification and acceptance at the rental counter. Otherwise LDW and Supplemental Liability Insurance (“SLI”) SLI is required. LDW and SLI are mandatory on Luxury SUV and Premium SUV or Car. LDW is available for the following amounts and deductibles: $14.95/per day with a $500.00USD deductible up to full size vehicles $14.95/day with a $500.00 deductible up to full-size vehicles; $14.95/day $500.00 deductible Luxury/Premium vehicles and Trucks; $21.95/day $1,000.00 deductible Commercial/Cargo/Pick-up Trucks. For trucks – the Cargo Compartment is not covered by LDW. The lessee is responsible for the full value of the compartment in case of damages, accident or loss whether at fault or not. If repair’s estimate is less than the deductible, the difference is credited. Glass and Window Protection is $9.95/per day. Tire and Rim Protection is $9.95/per day. SLI is 9.95 per day. Fees are taxable.

Special Equipment Rental Auto Expreso Toll Pass
Baby, Toddler and Infant seats are available at $5.95/per day and must be reserved in advance to make sure they’ll be available.

Auto Expreso Toll Pass

Auto Expreso Toll Pass is $10.00 one-time charge for activation fee plus a charge for the rental use. Tolls for Special vehicles and trucks vary. All fees are taxable. Request at the rental counter.

Fuel Policy
All cars are provided with fuel and should be returned with the same amount of fuel as it was received in order to avoid a locally determined Refueling charge. Prepaid fuel options are available. Please inquire at the rental counter. Credit is not issued for unused fuel.

Geographic Restrictions
Vehicles are not allowed to leave the main Island of Puerto Rico Vehicles are only allowed to be driven on paved roads and cannot be driven on beaches or off road.  Doing so will void any insurance coverage.

Driver Qualification
All Drivers must possess a valid Driver’s License in his or her own name from their country and/or state of residence as well as a clean driving record. They must also present a valid credit card in their own name at time of rental. If their Driver’s License is not in Roman Alphabet and in the Spanish or English languages, they must have a valid International Driver’s License and present their passport. The minimum age of drivers is 18 years old and the maximum is 80 years old. Lessees between the ages of 18 and 24 may rent a vehicle with an underage fee of $9.95USD per day. Additional Drivers have the same requirements as the Primary Driver and will be required to pay an additional drivers’ fee of $5.95USD, per day, except for the spouse. Different age requirements may be applicable for certain vehicle classes.  Convertible, Full-size SUV, Luxury SUV, Minivan or Trucks:  minimum 25 age years. All drivers must have and consent to include their full name, residential address and driver’s license jurisdiction of issuance on the rental agreement at the time of rental. All fees are taxable.

Payment & Deposits
We accept AX, Mastercard and Visa. A security deposit will be held at the start of the rental. This amount could vary depending on vehicle type and rental days. If lessee provides insurance the deposit is $200.00 plus the rental. Economy Compact Midsize Standard Fullsize Minivan cars $200.00. Convertible, Cargo Van and Pick-up deposit is $500.00. Luxury, 15 PASS, Box and Cargo Trucks deposit is $500.00. Eligible Debit cards are accepted but MUST have a Mastercard or Visa Logo as well as the lessee’s name printed in raised script. These funds will no longer be available for immediate use and may take up to 30 days…depending on your bank…to become available. We will not be responsible for any returned checks or insufficient fund charges. We do not accept cash for deposit rentals. Vouchers and prepaid cards are not accepted. If customer is providing personal insurance the deposit amount will be equal to the customers policy deductible with a minimum $200.00 deposit. If opting to use Credit card coverage the minimum deposit is $200.00. This amount could vary depending on vehicle type and rental days.

Legal Notice
The Company provides a car rental affiliate reservation system and acts as an agent for your convenience. Although we use reasonable commercial efforts to ensure the accuracy of all information posted on our website or distributed to other websites, we do not warrant the accuracy of fitness of such information for any particular purpose. Our liability, if any, shall be limited to the amount of rental charges paid to us. The terms, conditions and prevailing law covering the rental shall be those stated on the rental contract presented at the actual rental location.

Additional Information
Additional charges will be collected at rental in local currency. A rental day consists of a 24-hour period. Changes to the reservation may result in a change of rate or an additional fee. There are no refunds for early returns. If “after hours” returns are permitted, the lessee will be billed up to the start of the next business day and is responsible for the rental vehicle, until inspected by a company representative. Please inquire at the rental counter for further details.
